1 Day Active Threat Response Course
Full Spectrum Active Threat Response Course
- This course covers the fundamental principles of active threat response for individuals and small teams, responding to a threat as quickly as possible to stop the killing. It covers the basics of CQB and solo/team response to an active threat.
- No fluff or filler is included. The course stays focused on the actual response to an active threat and the actions needed immediately after the event.
- Training can take place in a local school, church, or office building. This makes the scenarios realistic and helps participants practice in an environment similar to where an active threat could occur.
- The scenarios test each responder’s skills, mindset, and training under pressure. They also help leadership better understand the team’s true response capabilities.
3 Day Active Threat Course
Day 1: Range Day
- Pistol and rifle firearms live fire drills specifically designed for the responder in a crawl, walk, run progression. Builds a solid foundation in marksmanship, safe weapons handling, moving while shooting, basic CQB centric drills that will be utilized in day 2 and 3 of this course
Day 2: CQB Training
- This day will be inside a shoot house or local building doing CQB training, with a focus on CQB for active threat response
- Simmunition rounds will be used against paper targets for rifle and pistol. Marksmanship, team movement, and fundamentals will be the main focus. CQB is different everywhere you go, this type of CQB will be simplified and easy to master, focusing on keeping the responding individuals safe while quickly moving to end a threat.
Day 3: Full Spectrum Active Threat Response Course
- This course covers the fundamental principles of active threat response for individuals and small teams, responding to a threat as quickly as possible to stop the killing. It covers the basics of CQB and solo/team response to an active threat.
- There is no fluff, and there is nothing else in this course except the actual response to (and immediate aftermath of) an active threat. There is nothing more important than stopping the killing and mitigating the violence against civilians.
- Conducted in a local school, church, or office building, this training consists of scenario’s and mimics real world active shooter events. It is extremely realistic with role players and force on force encounters
- This is an excellent test of the skills, mindset and training that single officer/agents have and gives leadership an idea of the true capabilities of their officers

Morning Session: Classroom portion
- Video case studies of recent church attacks
- Physiological responses to stress and how to counter them
- Threat recognition
- De-escalation techniques
Afternoon Session: Scenario based training
- Use of blue guns and simmunition ammo against live role players
- Multiple scenarios that cover likely threats a church safety team may face
